This combo produces the best balance of spool and power available on this platform. The FP Blueâ„¢ flows 57LB a minute capable of producing upwards of 475WHP.
Initial Testing by AWD Tuning shows this turbo to come on strong and hold all the way to redline and produce great numbers on both pump and E85. Thanks to the FP54 Turbine you're not waiting for boost to come on and mated with the 57LB a minute 73mm HTZâ„¢ Compressor wheel you have enough air flow for over 500WHP!
Our Project Toilet Bowl (2000 Outback sports) hit the dyno today to do some testing on the new Forced Performance TurbochargersBlue stock location bolt on turbo. We have had it for weeks to test at the track, but the weather has really fucked that up for us. So we decided to thrown it on the dyno and see what kinda of numbers it could produce. Full boost by 3800rpm and able to hold 27-28psi to redline(7200) This thing spools like the HTA71 but makes power like a HTZ Green

Please read below to determine which oil line fits your application.
FP offers two different types of oil lines that will fit most WRX/STI year models. However due to part number changes year to year and make to make we can not solidly identify which line you need. So below is a description of the lines and instructions on how to determine which one you'll need for your application. These are not made to work on anything other than Impreza WRX/STIs and we do not know if they will work on other models such as Legacy and Outbacks.
Type 1 - This line is to be used if at the oil feed location off the back of the head only feeds the turbo. See the diagram on the right below, if you have that type of oil line you will use the Type 1 line. This was formally known as an non-AVCS line.
Type 2 - This line is to be used if at the oil feed location off the head splits and feeds the turbo and the AVCS solenoid. See the diagram on the left below, if you have that type of oil line you will use Type 2 line. This was formally known as the AVCS Line.
Porting is available again for this turbocharger. Please take a look at our Porting Services page for examples:
For all of our journal bearing turbos we recommend a high quality oil.
