This Complete T3 BRZ / FRS Turbo Kit can be configured to suit a wide range of power goals ranging from a 300whp Subaru BRZ on pump gas to a 700+whp E85 powered Scion FR-S for race applications! It is also easily upgradeable should your needs change in the future simply by swapping to a different PTE turbocharger!

MAPerformance has done the vast majority of the leg work when it come to accomplishing your goals by including everything you need from the hot parts (FRS / BRZ Turbo Manifold & Down Pipe) to the fuel system; All you will need to start enjoying your new found horsepower is some tuning!

BRZ / FRS Turbocharger Selection

There are key benefits to both journal bearing and ball bearing center sections. The decision really comes down to personal preference and budget. Ball bearing turbos are designed to offer increased support to the turbine shaft in such applications where sustained load on the center section would decrease the longevity of a journal bearing center section. Ball bearing center sections requires less oil to provide adequate lubrication, this reduces oil temps and minimizes the chance for seals leaking and oil starvation after your engine has been shut down. Journal bearings work well in most situations, they are more affordable than their ball bearing counterparts and offer greater longevity in applications where maximum load under sustained duration is not needed. OEM turbos are typically journal bearing because they are reliable under more moderate boost levels, cost effective and are typically, more serviceable. Ball bearing turbos are more reliable in sustained higher boost applications and offer better transient boost response.

Subaru BRZ / FR-S Fuel Injector Selection

We utilize Fuel Injector Clinic injectors in our 2013 Subaru BRZ / Scion FR-S T3 Turbocharger kit that are precisely flow matched to within 1%. We have outlined the capabilities of the different sizes below, however, these horsepower ratings do not take into account the octane of gas which will ultimately be the deciding factor on the limitations of a particular setup. Additionally, E85 applications require significantly more fuel thus the need for larger fuel injectors to attain similar horsepower levels in comparison to gas.

FR-S / BRZ Blow Off Valve Selection

1. Turbosmart Vee-Port Blow Off Valve

Redesigned from the ground up, the new Vee Port PRO is 20% smaller and 33% lighter than its predecessor. Featuring a hard anodized aluminum piston, the new Vee Port PRO offers high flow capabilities in a lighter, more compact package.

2.Turbosmart Race Port Blow Off Valve (Recommended with 5558 turbocharger or larger)

The largest and the highest-flowing BOV in the Turbosmart range has just been redesigned and now features our unique collar design. 46% lighter and 25% smaller than the product it replaces, the new Race Port provides greater performance through faster turbo spool-up from idle and reduced turbo lag between gears.

FRS/BRZ High Capacity Aluminum Oil Pan

The MAP High Capacity Aluminum Oil Pan was originally designed as an alternative to having the customer drill and weld their factory oil pan (If you select MAP Supplied Oil Drain Fitting above). It also yields an additional 1.5 quarts of oil capacity making this an intriguing option for any racer looking to keep oil temperatures and pickup supply in check!

Benefits of Ceramic Coating

Ceramic coating is more then just a pretty wrapper, it provides many benefits. By retaining heat within headers, the coating is said to increase exhaust-gas velocity because hot gasses expand and travel faster. It also provides an anti corrosion barrier to help protect the elements, all while looking good!

PTP Turbo Lava Blanket

The PTP Turbo Lava Blanket isolates the heat produced by your turbocharger, and prevents that heat from damaging, or even igniting, components surrounding the turbocharger within your engine compartment, such as plastic and rubber hoses and electrical wiring, as well as painted surfaces, such as the engine bay and the surface of the hood. Also, it prevents areas of localized high temperature from damaging the engine itself.

Disclaimers
•Due to the need for a modified radiator support, the clip for the factory hood prop has been eliminated. We recommend the Grimmspeed Hood Struts for a simple, clean solution.
•The use of this kit requires modification to the factory crash beam (optional) and radiator core support (supplied) which have not been DOT approved.
