Tanabe Medallion Concept G Blue Catback Exhaust
Concept G Blue. Full Turboback HP++
Advantex Performance Exhaust Technology
advantex is a highly advanced muffler packing material that greatly excels over other packing material types such as loose packed fiberglass matsand composite cube types.
Advantex internal packaging material allows the muffler to reduce sound more, with lestaining extremely higflow characteristics.
Special Piping Construction
Since CONCEPT G BLUE is a turbo-back exhaust system, we took special considerationof its's components. Since exhaust gasses from turbochargers are very hot, the downpipe and cat-delete portionsof the system have a rugged 1.5mm thick piping, whereas the cooler rear cat-back section uses 1.2mm thick piping for weight reduction.
Removeable Silencer Included
The CONCEPT G Blue is one of the most powerful exhaust system creations. Because it is a zero restriction model, the system is louder than other Tanabe systems under 95db and 93db. For this reason they include a removeable silencer which can reduce overall sound outputs and db levels.
A special signature of the CONCEPT G BLUE is the flame treated full iconel tip. Iconel is a rare alloy that has anti-corrosive properties and has the ability to withstand extreme temperatures. The tip is slash cut and also features the Medallion Logo in laser etched print.
Weight Reduction - Pressed Flanges
Further weight reduction is achieved throught the use of pressed SUS304 exhaust flanges on protions of the exhaust system.
*Flange may vary by application
Weight Reduction - Hollow Exhaust Hanger
Because every bit of weight savings is beneficial. Exhaust Hangers have a hollow construction the help reduce weight.
Highest Grade SUS304 Construction
Tanabe was one of the first Japanese aftermarket companies to create full SUS304 Stainless Steel Exhaust Systems many years ago. The highest grade SUS304 Stainless is used on all these Tanabe systems for maximum durability, as well as for its lightweight properties.
Straightest Form, Mandrel Bent
Minimizing bends is a goal of each custom-built Tanabe exhaust system. the truest form is realized to minimize restrictions and maximize useable powergains. When necessary, the piping is mandrel bent for improved exhaust flow characteristics.
