We now have Precision Rebuild Kits available for the standard shaft Precision Journal Bearing Turbochargers. Most Precision Journal Bearing Turbos 55 up to 62s and some 67s. You will need to measure the turbine shaft diameter to see this kits will fit your 67mm. The measurements are .25" for the standard shaft. This measurement is taken on the turbine shaft where the compressor wheel slides onto it. There is a step for the wheel, measure the turbine shaft diameter on the step, if you are .25" and journal Bearing. This rebuild kti will work for you!
The Precision rebuild kit shaft nut TQ spec:
- We highly suggest 2 drops of red Loctite
- 28 inch pounds (not foot pounds)
- If it is standard right hand thread an additional 1/4 of a turn; If it is reverse left hand thread then an additional 1/8 of a turn
Also, always, torque it this way, then loosen it up and do the procedure one more time, just to make sure you got all of the slack out the first time and everything seats.
